Community Representative
Stephanie Oyen joined the board in fall of 2011, after serving on the finance committee for several years, although she began her journey with LVC as a Volunteer in Baltimore in 1991. Her placement at a nonprofit housing agency led Stephanie into a career of working in the affordable housing finance industry. She has also been an LVC recruiter and a member of the Local Support Committee in Minneapolis. Stephanie credits LVC with showing her how to integrate her faith with a call to work for social justice.
Stephanie lives in Minneapolis, MN with her partner Stephen, their two children and five chickens. They enjoy gardening, doing delicious things with the food they grow, entertaining friends, live music and the occasional canoeing and camping trip.
