Congregation Representative
Mary is a representative from Luther Place Memorial Church. She grew up in southwest New Jersey and now lives in Riverdale Park, MD, enjoying life in the 'suburbs' with Judy, her partner of 8 years and their rambunctious dog Pebbles. She works for the US Department of Energy, currently in Talent and Leadership Development program. She heard about LVC as a Vincentian Service Corp volunteer 2001-2002. Her placement was at N Street Village and worked with LVCers. After her year of service, her roommate also finished her volunteer year as an LVCer. Journey to an Inclusive Community is the component of LVC which is most important to Mary so she serves on the JIC committee as well as offers her expertise on personnel issues.
