Local Support Committee Representative
Emily Moen lives in Chicago, IL, and oversees communications, marketing and development for the Chicago Community Loan Fund. She is a 2-year LVC alumna who served in Wilmington (’06-’07) and Chicago (’07-’08). Emily was drawn to LVC by a desire to experience intentional community, and the program helped her discover a love for exploring the core practice of simplicity. She stays connected to current volunteers by serving on the Local Support Committee in Chicago as a house support contact. Her board responsibilities include chairing the Board Development and Nominations Committee and serving on the Fund Development Committee
A Wisconsin native who studied English and Religion at St. Olaf College, Emily enjoys crossword puzzles, and hopes one day to complete a Saturday NY Times puzzle.
