Ellie came to LVC in 2007 with over 20 years of administrative and fund development experience, most recently for nine years was the Office Manager/Director of Operations for the Luther Institute in Washington, DC. She has also held positions at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, American Theological Library Association in Chicago, and Christ Seminary-Seminex in St. Louis. Her deep experience is reflected in her wide proficiency of constituent relations, non-profit accounting and development software, team leadership and office management.
Born in Ghana, Ellie graduated with an economics degree from the University of Ghana in 1979. She also attended St. Louis University in the United States. She is married to the Rev. Emmanuel Grantson, pastor of St. Michael’s Truth Lutheran Church in Mitchellville, MD. They are the parents of two adult sons.
