Ami is a graduate of Sweet Briar College (BA) and Boston College (MA & MSW).
Between college and graduate school, she spent a year as a Jesuit Volunteer in the
Bronx, NY. In her professional life, Ami has worked as a hospice social worker, as
an administrator working with at-risk college students, and as a college mental health
counselor. Ami believes in vocation, community, the power and divinity of relationships,
hard work, simple pleasures, the goodness of the earth, not always getting what you want,
being honest about who you are, and knowing how to ground yourself when everything
else gets a little topsy-turvy.
