Support LVC

The LVC experience changes lives everyday.  This is made possible by a dedicated, grassroots group of donors, alumni, congregations, and friends of LVC.  Because of the time, talent, treasure, and prayers provided by this cloud of witnesses, LVC can accomplish a lot with a little at every level of the organization.  Therefore, we thoughtfully work to incorporate our mission into all aspects of our work.

We invite you to join us.  Together, we can build a world focused onintentional community, social justice, simple and sustainable living.

Ways to get involved:

1) Make a donation
LVC relies heavily on the support we receive from individuals and congregations.  Please consider joining our family of donors.  Gifts of all sizes are greatly needed and appreciated.

Donations can be made in honor or memory of someone special.  Let us know the name and contact information, and we'll let them know you honored them with a gift to LVC!

Another great way to support LVC financially is through Simply GivingSimply Giving is a monthly giving program that makes it easy to support LVC’s important work.  You can now give to Lutheran Volunteer Corps on a monthly basis without having to grab the checkbook, write a check, address an envelope, and find a stamp. Through Simply Giving, offered by Thrivent, the convenience of automatic withdrawal is now available to LVC supporters.   This method of transferring funds is not only convenient, reliable, and safe, but also a regular and steady source of support for LVC.  There is no cost to you or LVC.  You do not have to be a member of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to participate.  Please consider giving of your “first fruits” through this special program.  The benefits to you and to LVC are immense.

Contact us at 202-387-3222 or Development@LutheranVolunteerCorps.org to hear how you can automatically send a monthly gift to LVC, or simply download the enrollment form at http://www.thrivent.com/fraternal/churchcommunity/simplygiving.html
