Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center offers a variety of support services to inner-city parents and children. These include day care, tutorial programs, computer training, career counseling, and a teen program. Children's ages range from infancy to teenagers. The Volunteer meets with school administrators and parents to share information about students' progress and develop lessons for the tutorial program. In addition, the Volunteer assists with the summer camp, field trips and after-school programs. There may be some evening hours. Good organizational skills, self-motivation, and experience working with children a plus.
