LVC is an independant, non-profit organization, governed by a Board of Directors.  The Board is comprised of 15 representatives from the various communities in which LVC currently operates, nominated persons from the Local Support Committees, and represetatives  from Sustaining Congregations.  Each serves a three-year term.
