The Heinz School offers several full-time graduate degree programs in public policy, arts management, health care policy, and information technology.

Lutheran Volunteers and alumni admitted to a Heinz School degree program are guaranteed a scholarship of at least $6,000 per semester. While working toward masters' degrees Lutheran Volunteers may complete internships in local public or nonprofit organizations including health care and arts organizations, local government, school systems, and community development corporations.

What are the St. Paul Missional Scholarships?
Nominations are now being accepted for St. Paul Missional Scholarships. They provide full-tuition for the first year of study. Students entering the Master of Arts or Master of Divinity programs at Luther Seminary during the coming academic year are eligible. Deadline for nomination is April 15th of each year.
Who should apply?
Do you know an individual who has shown their heart for God's world of many cultures and religions in one more of the following contexts?
- International study
- Missionary service
- Outdoor ministry
- Involvement in a mission congregation
- Serving in Lutheran Volunteer Corps, Urban and Border Servant Corps, Peace Corps, VISTA or a similar cross-cultural experience.
How do I nominate someone?
A nomination form and recommendation letter are required. Deadline for nomination is April 15th of each year. Please attach a letter of recommendation, which includes a description of your nominee’s experiences in a setting of cross-cultural learning or missional leadership experience. Please give specific examples of how this nominee has already shown a commitment to “apostolic mission in the 21st century world of many cultures and religions”.

Marquette University
Trinity Fellows Program

Lutheran Volunteers and alumni are invited to apply for graduate study in the Marquette University Trinity Fellows Program, a twenty-one month study/work program offering Master’s degrees in: Business, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Communication, Economics, English, History, International Affairs, Applied Philosophy, Political Science, or Public Service. While engaged in full-time graduate study, Fellows work on substantive projects designed by selected nonprofit organizations in the Milwaukee area. The nonprofit work commitment is 18 hours per week during each academic year and 40 hours per week during the intervening summer. Each fellowship includes a full-tuition scholarship and a monthly stipend (currently valued at $1565 per month). Each student is charged a participation fee of $1250 per semester. Up to ten fellowship awards will be distributed for the period of August 2006 – May 2008. Applicants must have at least one year of full-time volunteer service.
